Winding Down {Kentucky Iced Tea}

Even though we'll *enjoy* summer temps until October, summer is winding down.  School starts next week.

Back in June I declared this summer The Summer of Booze and Seafood.  I always commit fully to what I set out to do.

So this summer of booze and seafood...I've totally been enjoying it.

Long Island Iced Tea. Of course I've heard of it.  Had it even.
Kentucky Iced Tea not so much.

At a pool party, my sister-in-law's brother talked it up.
I had to have it.  I mean, I love iced tea!

Only...ummm...just like Long Island Iced Tea...there's no tea.
I figured bourbon.  But I also thought maybe, just maybe.
Kentucky.  Southern.  Iced Tea.
For realz this time.
Nope.

  1. I love the Summer of Booze! Iced Tea is a great summer drink. This looks a lot like Long Island Tea with a Kentucky twist. I LOVE Long Island Tea, I will have to try it. Thanks, Michelle!
