Lemon Drop Martinis taste like lemonade and what's better during summer than that?

Lemon Drop Martinis
1. Make a simple syrup
Combine 2 parts sugar to 1 part water in a saucepan and stir. Bring to a boil. Store sealed in the refrigerator--keeps for several weeks.
2. Make martinis for 2
2 tsp simple syrup (or to taste)
1 1/2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 oz vodka
lemon slices for garnish
Combine the ingredients above (except for the lemon slices) in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice cubes and shake. Strain into two glasses and garnish with lemon slices.

ReplyDeleteWow, this sounds spectacular and so pretty. Way back in the day I used to love lemon drop shots (too much)! But as a martini this sounds like the perfect summer drink!
