Being Well-Rounded {Cuba Libre}

Hey yall.  I'm still around.  And I have another summer drink for you.

Apparently I'm into lime these days.
Last time it was a Cape Codder with vodka, cranberry juice, and lime juice.
Today it's a Cuba Libre with rum, coke, and lime juice.

But before you go on thinking all I'm doing this summer is sittin' out on the deck drinkin'

(which I may or may not really be doing at the moment...you'll never know for sure)

It's been early to work

and some fishin'

on a branch of Bayou Plaquemine Brulee,
which I conveniently pass on my way home from work.

And more fishin'

down in the marshes south of New Orleans.

Along with that drinkin' out on the deck.

It's good to be a well-rounded person.

Cuba Libre
according to The Husband

equal parts Coke & white rum
Lime juice, to taste (I like a lot)

Mix all of the above.  Pour in a glass.  Add a few ice cubes.  The end.

  14. Equal parts rum and coke... that would be a kicker for me. I love lime in my drinks too. I like mint too... very big on mojitos. Haven't had a cuba libre in a long time... thanks for the reminder.
