Thank you for visiting
See Ya in the Gumbo
Potluck Party
*~*~*
My great grandpa said See ya in the gumbo!
instead of "good-bye."
It means see ya out there in the mix.
It means see ya out there in the mix.
Gumbo is a mix of various ingredients.
And no two people make it the same way.
To "make a gumbo" means much more than cooking. When someone says "I'm making a gumbo," it means family and friends are invited.
I invite you to join this POTLUCK PARTY every Sunday night.
Bring whatever mix of ingredients you'd like.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the feature! I still get so excited when I see my recipe featured. It's almost a a Sally Fields moment- she likes MY recipe she really likes my recipe. I've been making split pea soup for so long I don't even need a recipe anymore. Always make my own stock. To cheap to buy it and plus hate all the sodium in it.
Getting long winded- sorry-
Thanks for hosting .
P.S,- made Joe and Sue's Black bean brownies-
