See Ya in the Gumbo # 117 {potluck}

*~*~*
Thank you for visiting
See Ya in the Gumbo
Potluck Party
*~*~*

My great grandpa said See ya in the gumbo!
instead of "good-bye."
It means see ya out there in the mix.

Gumbo is a mix of various ingredients.
And no two people make it the same way.
To "make a gumbo" means much more than cooking.  When someone says "I'm making a gumbo," it means family and friends are invited.

I invite you to join this POTLUCK PARTY every Sunday night.
Bring whatever mix of ingredients you'd like.

Ms. enPlace

  13. Finally able to get some free time and come on back and see you.
    Thanks so much for the feature! I still get so excited when I see my recipe featured. It's almost a a Sally Fields moment- she likes MY recipe she really likes my recipe. I've been making split pea soup for so long I don't even need a recipe anymore. Always make my own stock. To cheap to buy it and plus hate all the sodium in it.
    Getting long winded- sorry-
    Thanks for hosting .
    P.S,- made Joe and Sue's Black bean brownies-
