See Ya In the Gumbo! #31 (potluck)

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Hope you had a fantastic day. The Husband & The Boy took me out to eat at Cochon Lafayette last weekend since I was off of work. I plan to post a review later this week. Hint: Donald Link is my favorite Louisiana chef and he didn't disappoint. Today we had Mother-in-law over for Crawfish Pie, Corn Maque Chou, Zucchini Rice Gratin, and Strawberry Pie. As full as I am, I'm still looking forward to seeing what everyone links up this week.

See ya in the gumbo!

My great grandpa said this instead of "good-bye."  It means see ya out there in the mix.

Gumbo is a mix of various ingredients.  And no two people make it the same way.

To "make a gumbo" means much more than cooking.  When someone says "I'm making a gumbo," it means family and friends are invited.

I invite you to join this POTLUCK PARTY every Sunday night.

Bring whatever mix of ingredients you'd like.

Thank you for linking!

Last week's top-viewed links:

Jalapeno Sausage Pasta
from RV Life & Food

An easy pasta dish with lots of tasty ingredients. It didn't surprise me that this was the top viewed link from last week's potluck.

Fiesta Chicken Wraps
from The Kitchen Cookie

Martha always makes beautiful desserts. This wrap is proof that she makes a mean savory dish too.

Chicken, Broccoli, & Noodle Stir Fry
from Bizzy Bakes

Garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil...sounds good to me!

Crunchy French Bread Egg Pie
from The 21st Century Housewife

This is my pick for the week. I like the versatility April's recipe offers. And I think the French bread crust is pretty cool.
