Get Your Chef On: Peanut Butter

* See Ya In the Gumbo potluck HERE until Friday

It's Get Your Chef On time again--hosted by Julie @ White Lights On Wednesday and Jen @ Four Marrs & One Venus.

For this round, participants dig into the peanut butter jar.

Set me loose with a jar of peanut butter, I'm grabbing a spoon and channeling my inner 4 year old.

That means chocolate gets worked in somewhere.  (Although, let's be real.  Chocolate and peanut butter channel just about every age I've ever been and ever will be.)

I whipped up these Peanut Butter, Chocolate, and Banana Smoothies in a flash.  They are intensely peanut buttery.  Intensely rich.

Can we pretend I didn't eat this for breakfast?

Peanut Butter, Chocolate, and Banana Smoothie

1 banana
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup milk (plus more to thin to your liking)
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
2 Tbsp chocolate syrup, plus more for top

Place everything in a blender ans puree until smooth.  Add a splash or two of milk (or not) to get the consistency you wish.  Pour in chilled glasses, drizzle with additional chocolate syrup, and serve.

Makes about 2 cups and is very rich (a little goes a long way).

This post is part of Get Your Chef On: Peanut Butter.  Visit Julie and Jen for all the peanut butter your spoon can handle.
