*~*~*
It's See Ya in the Gumbo time!
Thank you for spending part of your day in the gumbo.
*~*~*
My great grandpa said See ya in the gumbo!
instead of "good-bye."
It means see ya out there in the mix.
Gumbo is a mix of various ingredients.
And no two people make it the same way.
To "make a gumbo" means much more than cooking. When someone says "I'm making a gumbo," it means family and friends are invited.
I invite you to join this POTLUCK PARTY every Sunday night.
Bring whatever mix of ingredients you'd like.

Homemade Soft Pretzel Bites
from Lou Lou Girls
Baked Cinnamon Bun Oatmeal (Single Serving)
from Jo and Sue
This was breakfast today. It was really good, tasted like a cinnamon roll, and had almost a cake-like texture. One serving fit perfectly in my soup crocks and took the full 30 min. to bake.
No-Fuss Sausage and Vegetable Casserole
from Creative and Delicious
Hamburger Macaroni Casserole
from Margaret's Morsels

Pecan Pie Muffins

Easy Drop Sourdough English Muffins
from Our Sunday Cafe

Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies
from Love Bakes Good Cakes
Made these over the weekend. The gooey brownie layer and fudge layer work well together. It's almost like the brownies have a thick PB icing. I skipped the ganache on top b/c I didn't have cream. Drizzled melted chocolate chips over the top instead.
Watermelon Limeade
from Creative and Delicious
Chocolate Swirl Bundt Cake
from Easy Life Meal and Party Planning
Jello Cheesecake Squares
from My Pinterventures
The Husband wanted in on the action this week too...
